About our WHS PTO
The WHS PTO's mission is to enrich the educational experience of students at Westlake High School by providing volunteer and financial support to Westlake High School’s teachers, administrators, counselors, and students.
All parents of enrolled WHS students are members. No Membership Fee is required. Membership in the WHS PTO brings a wide variety of benefits for students, parents, and the entire Westlake High School Community.
OUR MISSION
- Provide a welcoming environment through a wide variety of hospitality events throughout the school year
- Keep Members informed through Bi-Weekly Newsletters sent through Skyward about Meetings and other events that contain a wealth of information about school and community activities, important dates, and other news
- Contribute to the excellent education our students enjoy by providing PTO Bucks to staff to help start up their classrooms, and through Allocation funds for specific items that are needed for a classroom but not funded through the district
- Enrich the WHS community through 4 yearly General Meetings that cover a variety of topics relevant to current events
ENRICH THE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Your donation funds staff PTO Bucks, curriculum enrichment and special projects
- Your volunteer time contributes to staff appreciation and staff and student celebrations
- Your contributions support class activities and events and scholarships
KEEP THE WHS COMMUNITY INFORMED
- Conduct 4 (Four) General Meetings on a variety of topics to help inform and educate the WHS community throughout the school year
- Send bi-weekly newsletters with important school and community information
- Maintain and update the WHS student and parent information database to help keep us all connected (download the Membership Toolkit app for quick access to the online directory)
